Tropical Storms Karina and Lowell form in the Pacific Ocean as Dolly churns in the Atlantic

Two new tropical storms have developed. Maximum sustained winds for these storms are currently around 40 to 45 mph. The National Hurricane Center expects them to strengthen into hurricanes soon.

These storms are located far from land, with one about 825 miles from a notable landmark and the other much farther away.
