A 16-year-old San Antonio girl is working to support others with scoliosis. Aniya Soni was diagnosed with the condition at 14 and noticed changes in her posture beforehand. Her family had observed that she had a hunched back and uneven shoulders and hips.

Soni had surgery in New York a few months after her diagnosis. She is now trying to help other girls in San Antonio who may be going through a similar experience. Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine that can affect the body's shape and lung function if left untreated.

Further details about Soni's efforts and her experience with scoliosis are available from KSAT 12.
