A football player was seriously hurt during a practice session. The incident occurred on a Wednesday.

The student was taken to a hospital by air. This is the second time this month a high school football player has been airlifted after falling ill during practice.

Further information about the injured player's condition is not available, but the community has been asked to respect the family's privacy. Another player had a medical emergency earlier this month and sadly died two days later.
