An immigration officer has been released from jail after a federal judge rejected an attempt to keep him detained. The officer, Christian Castro, faces criminal charges related to a January shooting. He is accused of firing through a closed door and striking a man in the leg, as well as lying about the events leading up to the shooting. Castro has been charged with four counts of assault.
