Two beluga whales have died at an aquarium, including one recently relocated from Canada. The whale, a 20-year-old female named Rain, was part of a group of four whales moved to the aquarium in mid-August. A 34-year-old male named Beethoven, who had lived at the aquarium for decades, also died.

Another whale, Peekachu, died last week. The aquarium has not indicated the cause of the whales' deaths. Necropsies, blood tests, and additional exams are being conducted to determine the cause.

Further details are available from the aquarium's announcement.
